Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Corll

Rev. Corll has served as Pastor of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church since June 1991.  Previous pastorates include First Presbyterian Church, Milan, OH; First Presbyterian Church, Union City, PA; and First Presbyterian Church, Titusville, PA (Assoc. Pastor for Pastoral Care and Visitation).  While in seminary, he served a student pastorate for two years at Shadyside Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh, PA; and two summers as Chaplain at Pymatuning State Park, Jamestown, PA and student assistant at First Presbyterian Church, Jamestown. 

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA; a Master of Divinity Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh, PA; and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  He also holds certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Dan's committment to the community has been evident through his service as Chaplain to Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department and with Boy Scout Troop 81. He is a life member of The Foundation for Reformed Theology and serves at the national level as President of the Board of Directors for The Presbytery Pastoral Care Network.  In addition, he has served multiple terms on the Alumni Council of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary Alumni Council, most recently as President; and multiple terms on the Committee on Ministry of Pittsburgh Presbytery.

He is currently developing a new model for ministry with several minister colleagues called The Shepherd's Staff.  In his spare time, Dan's hobbies include woodcarving, gardening, antiques, and spending time with his family.  Dan and his wife, Debbie, are the parents of Eric, Heidi, Jeremy and Joseph and with great joy announce the marriage of their son Eric to Elizabeth (Lizzi) Lapka on September 19, 2009.
