Every year, the congregation of Mt. Pleasant Church makes and sells about 650 cherry pies! The crust is hand-made, using a 'secret' recipe, the filling is a mixture of sweet and sour cherries (2 lbs. per pie!), and they can be ordered baked or unbaked and ready for the freezer.
