Welcome to Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Wexford, PA
Ministering in the Tri-County Area

Our drive today to the Austrian Alps was beautiful and we could see the contrast of the many fields of various plants and the scenic panoramas of the country side and mountain valleys and hills.  We have been blessed with good weather and today was spectacular.  Tomorrow we have a walking tour of Salzburg, the home of Mozart and where the setting for the Sound of Music took place.  As we traveled through the mountains our tour guide played the sound track from Sound of Music and many were singing along.  Not until today did I learn what Edelweiss is.  It is a rare flower that grows in the alps.  If a mountain climber finds it is a sign of good luck.  If the flowers are given to another it is a sign of love and affection.  I offer Edelweiss to all of you, keeping you lovingly and affectionately in my heart.  Sometimes when we are away from those who are dear to us...in strange surroundings, we remember those who are dear to us, and offer special prayers for them...  I am remembering the good friends and church family of Mt. Pleasant in my heart.  Edelweiss.  Dan Corll
